Saint-Anicet's Beach, 4 min by foot from the cottage - 31/38. Back of the cottage at the beginning of fall - 32/38.. CITQ no 304569, is located in the heart of the village of St-Anicet (approx.1 h from Montreal), one street from the shore, but not on the lake:-View of Lake Saint Francis (~200 feet from our property);

Cozy little 4-season "boat house" style 3 bedroom chalet. Year-round SPA. Large bay about 3 1/ 2 feet deep for swimming at the end of the canal. Fishing, pedal boat ride, 4 x 10 foot kayaks or 2 SUP 9 and 10 feet and safety jackets. Terrace, outdoor fire, BBQ, dishwasher, washer, dryer, air conditioning, pellet stove (September to May).

The beach at parc Jules-Léger in Saint-Anicet might be one. The park occupies a small point that juts out into the Saint Lawrence. The beach itself is no more than an approximately 10-metre long water access point alongside a small pier. But the one-hour-15-minute trek from Montreal to this humble public dock has a big payoff: sweeping.
